I can't say I made them perfectly, but thankfully, my creations looked like those on the go. I love cakes, pastries, and little sweets... and so… I did homemade gift packages for my favorite men -- Dad, my brother, brothers in law and a cousin.

I made bunches of caramel corn puffs, chocolate cookies, and of course, the little but ever-present milk candies (polvoron), and my mother's nougat! Everything was done quick and fun with little hands eager to help in wrapping up nougats and candies in small parcels and the rest of the goodies with decorative cellophane bags.

I was so happy to see how delighted everyone was to see my personalized gifts. I couldn't explain the joy as I watched everyone smacking sweets merrily... I even ate along.

The beautiful thing is the feeling of how my humble presents gathered the whole family in the true spirit of oneness. This Christmas, I'm thinking of no-bake cheesecakes, I should be good at it, lol. Not kidding... and yes, I will make all of these from… scratch! Wait for it.

Once I sent my boss (not one of my favorite men anymore, lol) two movie tickets for him and his wife, sealed in a self-made envelope. The next day I was amazed his wife sent me a cake with a message that delivers ” Thank you for the treat." ... Wow, it was an enormous feeling!

Any bling-bling that you think your man can incorporate into his daily life can be creative. It doesn't have to be flashy, there are beaded wristlets or chain necklaces. If he is an executive, a Bulgari or Paul Smith signature ring can make him smile.

So I was telling myself again that since most of my men go out cycling, then outdoor gears are perfect. What's nice too is that I can add to the cycling supplies for family members, as I'm sure we'll all be going out for Christmas mountain biking. But back to my senses, a Jersey shirt for everybody can be a lot expensive.

From a personalized toiletry box to a necktie pouch and shoe bag, there is nothing like giving away presents they know are personally made for them. Hand-sewing pouches and bags do not need to be fancy. Create styles that can replace an old one and give him something that will keep his personal belongings organized.
